Participation Support for Early Career Researchers
The Scientific Organizing Committee is pleased to invite applications for participation support from early career researchers*currently working in the field of invertebrate neurobiology. The grants are intended to support participation at 1st Symposium on Invertebrate Neuroscience, Tihany, Hungary. Priority will be given to applicants who intend to present their research in the form of a poster or oral presentation. Funding will be provided to support registration cost, and accommodation fee.
Please email Dr. Zsolt Pirger pirger.zsolt@okologia.mta.hu for an application using 'Participation Support' in the subject heading. The application must include the following attachments: abstract, CV, and supervisor's recommendation. Furthermore, please indicate that applicant will present a poster or a talk.
Deadline for submission of completed applications: April 21st, 2019
Applicants will be notified of the decision by: April 26th, 2019
*to qualify as an early career researcher you should either be a postgraduate student or a research fellow on a fixed term contract not more than 6 years since the award of your PhD. Special consideration will be given to applicants who do not meet this 6 year criterion because of career breaks for family commitments.
