MTA Centre for Ecological Research, Balaton Limnological Institute, Tihany
Our mission at the Centre is to carry out high quality research on the biological diversity of forest, grassland, lake and river ecosystems, to learn about these systems, and to provide evidence of the importance of their conservation. The Centre is the home of researchers from various disciplines, including ecology, botany, hydrobiology, meteorology, agronomy, forestry, as well as interdisciplinary sciences.
Airport transfers:
Since many participants will be travelling internationally through Budapest Airport, and Tihany is about a 2 hour drive away, we will be providing two shuttle services from and to the airport. There will be one shuttle during the afternoon of the 13th August 2019 from the airport to Tihany, and also one on the morning of the 18th August 2019 from Tihany to Budapest airport. The price of these set transfers are included in the registration fee. Further details regarding the transfers will be sent to all participants via e-mail later on.
In case you cannot make these transfers for any reason we are more than happy to help you arrange a private transfer. Registration fees:
All registration fees include VAT (27%).
All catering services provided at the event count as representation according to the Article 3 of Szja and according to Article 69 of the Szja, the representational costs belong to individual benefits, including benefits in kind. The tax payable after the benefits in kind are always to be paid by the individual paying the registration fee, therefore on the invoice the registration fee is broken down into separate lines (catering, registration fee, etc).
Billing and confirmation:
Our system sends an automatic confirmation e-mail when an online registration has successfully been accepted. This might take a couple of minutes, please be patient.
In case you are paying through a bank transfer, you will be receiving your invoice through the e-mail address, which has been provided when completing your registration. This invoice will have all necessary information you should need in order to complete the bank transfer, including the bank account number, company name, etc. Please note the payment deadline included in the invoice and not the date that is displayed in the "Important dates" tab!
After paying through a bank transfer or with an online debit card payment, a deposit invoice will be sent to you via e-mail after the payment has come through. After the event, we will issue the final invoice, which again, will be sent to the e-mail address provided at registration.
Amending of invoices:
Any requests to make amendments on the invoice already issued (billing address, addressee or any other content provided at registration), or requesting a new invoice will be charged at a 3,000 HUF + VAT administration fee.
Cancellation and Money Back Guarantee Terms:
Only written cancellations sent to Partners Pécs Kft and received by the same by 2019-06-15 will be considered. In the case of a cancellation received before the above deadline, the registration fee and the advance money paid for the accommodation minus 20% administrative charge will be refunded. If the registration is cancelled after the deadline, no refund will be made.
In case of a refund, the administration fee is 2% of the amount to be refunded, but minimum 2,000 HUF.
Abstract submission:
We would like to kindly bring to your attention that depending on the browser which you are using the web page where you can submit your abstract may appear differently. Some browsers fail to display the tick box for verification on this page. Without ticking this box, you will not be able to submit your abstract. Therefore, we would like to kindly advise you to use a different browser (e.g.: Google Chrome) in order to make sure that you are able to complete the verification.
After completing all necessary information required and ticking the verification box and clicking 'submit', a pop-up window may appear on your screen. In this case you have exceeded the limit of the maximum characters (3000) and the message will be asking you to confirm whether you would still like to submit the abstract. Please choose 'yes' and your abstract will be submitted.
Once the abstract has been successfully submitted you will receive an automated confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address which you have provided. In case you do not receive this e-mail within a couple of minutes please check your spam folder. If there is still no e-mail, please contact us.
Privacy Policy:
We hereby inform you that we will store your data in order to fulfill the contract and to prove the terms of the contract later.
Your data will not be transferred to a third party unless the third party acts as a subcontractor to our company whilst performing the contract. However, subcontractors will not be entitled to retain, use, or pass on the personal information provided by our company to any other person or company. Your data will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Act.
Data Transmission Statement:
By registering the Customer accepts Partners Pécs Kft. (7624 Pécs, Budai Nagy Antal u. 1.) at pcongress.hu to provide the following personal data stored in its user database to OTP Mobile Ltd. (H-1093 Budapest, Közraktár utca 30.) Provided data: username, family name, given name, country, phone number, e-mail address. The purpose of data transmission: customer support for users, confirming transactions and fraud-monitoring for users defence.
